26日，中国地质大学副教授邢立达领衔的中外科学家宣布，他们在河北丰宁发现美颌龙类新物种，对恐龙演化研究有重要意义。这种恐龙体积很小，如果给没羽毛的鸡加上尾巴，添上牙齿，把翅膀改成指爪，就是美颌龙的模样。（澎湃新闻）

A Chinese and foreign scientists team led by Xing Lida, an associate professor at the China university of geosciences, announced on Monday that they had discovered a new species of compsognathus in Fengning, hebei province, which is of great signifcance to the study of dinosaur evolution. This dinosaur is so small, if you add teeth and a tail to a chicken without feathers, and change its wings into finger claws, that's what compsognathus looks like. (thepaper.cn)

A discovery by a team of Liu Jifeng and Zhang Haotong of the Chinese academy of sciences was published Thursday in the scientific journal Nature. With the help of the domestically developed Guo Shoujing Telescope (LAMOST), the team has discovered the most massive stellar black hole to date and provided a new way to search for black holes using LAMOST's sky survey advantage. Only 55 percent of Chinese doctoral students said they were partially satisfled with their doctoral experience, while 40 percent were anxious and depressed, and more than half of them worked 40 hours a week, according to a survey in the journal Nature on Monday. But doctoral students also acknowledge the positive aspects of pursuing a PhD, such as "the academic system encourages free innovation" and "being able to do what you like". (pear video)

国家卫健委：全国有四分之一的HIV感染者不知道自己感染

The National Health and Fitness Commission: a quarter of people infected with HIV do not know they are infected

26日，国家卫生健康委疾控局副局长周宇辉表示，今年艾滋病防治工作取得显著进展，艾滋病经输血传播基本阻断，注射吸毒和母婴传播得到了有效控制。周宇辉称，全国没有检测或不知道自身感染状况的感染者还有四分之一。（南方都市报）

Zhou yuhui, deputy director of the National Health and Fitness Commission's bureau of disease control and prevention, said Thursday that signifcant progress has been made in HIV prevention and treatment this year, with HIV transmission largely blocked by blood transfusion, drug injection and mother-to-child transmission effectively controlled. A quarter of infected people nationwide have not been tested or do not know their infection status, Mr. Zhou said. (southern metropolis daily)
