Symposium on the Work of Association of Beijing Science Education Centre was held

On April 12, Beijing Science and Technology Association held a symposium on the work of Association of Municipal Science Education Center. Ma Lin, Secretary of Party Group of Beijing Science and Technology Association attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was hosted by Chen Weicheng, vice-inspector of the Municipal Science and Technology Association and Minister of Science Popularization Department, and Executive Vice-President of the Beijing Science Education Center.

Chen Weicheng conveyed the spirit of the Chinese Science and Technology Association to hold a symposium on the construction of Community Science and Technology Association in Tianjin, introduced the situation of "three integration and one enhancement" of the Municipal Science and Technology Association to promote the construction of the Party and leading the construction of the Community Science and Technology Association in the new era, and made clear the task of Association of Beijing Science and Education Center to promote the construction of the Party and leading the construction of community science and technology association.

At the meeting, the participants conducted in-depth exchanges on works such as the participation of science popularization venues in Community Science and Technology Association construction, the construction of Theme Exhibition Zone of Science Education Center and the evaluation of professional title of Science Communication.

Finally, Ma Lin stressed in his speech, the construction of community science and technology association should focus on target heart, develop scope of the work, and promote the construction of Party building and group building with each other to actively carry out the construction of grass-roots science and technology association .We should give full play to the role of the Association Beijing Science and Education Center, and actively integrate its science popularization venues’ resources into the "double reports " of grass-roots Party organizations and on-the-job Party members, actively integrate into the basic management system of "Township whistling, department reporting", and actively integrate into the center construction of civilization practice in the new era and practically strengthen the construction of grass-roots organizations and other community Party building works. To promote the development by evaluation, to carry out evaluation of professional title of scientific communication as soon as possible and to form experience, and to promotion in the country, to promote the construction of science popularization talent team.
