Deepen the Coordination among Science Associations in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Promote Higher Level Development

In order to further implement the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Co-development Strategy and upgrade the cooperation among associations of science and technology in these three places, associations of science and technology in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei gathered in Tianjin on April 2nd to hold a symposium on co-development of science and technology associations in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, when they signed the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation among Associations of Science and Technology in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Construction and Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Science and Education Museum Alliance. Malin, secretary of the Party group of Beijing Association of Science and Technology, Lu Weimin, executive vice-chairman and secretary of the Party group of Tianjin Association of Science and Technology, Liu Jilei, executive vice-chairman and secretary of the Party group of Hebei Association of Science and Technology, attended the meeting and the signing ceremony.

Under the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation among Associations of Science and Technology in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, these three places will strengthen the cooperation to carry out key decision-making and consultation projects, jointly launch high-level academic exchanges, carry out scientific popularization in all-round manners, establish the cooperation and exchange mechanism for municipal (provincial) associations, promote the construction of academic exchange community of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, explore to set up development carrier alliance driven by service innovation, build the resource interaction alliance for science popularization in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, build the regional characteristic think tanks alliance, promote the coordination of the organizational construction of Science and Technology Associations, and develop the information-based construction of the Association, so as to promote the coordinated development between Chinese Association of Science and Technology and the Science and Technology Associations in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei towards integrated development at a higher level, a deeper level and a wider field.

Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Construction and Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Science and Education Museum Alliance puts forward that cooperation will be strengthened in such aspects as the formation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Science Education Museum Alliance, the integrated development of science education venues, dissemination of scientific ideas and methods, the prosperous development of science education venues, innovative and sharing development of science popularization resources, so as to promote the co-construction and sharing of science popularization resources in the three places, improve the scientific quality of citizens in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and give impetus to the innovation-driven development.
