​Closely revolving around the guiding principles of the speech made by the leader of CAST and combining with the major work of their Districts respectively, the people in charge of the District – Associations for Science and Technology made thorough discussions. 

In the afternoon of November 30, Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) organized a meeting to discuss the construction of Association for Science and Technology in community (AST-Community). The meeting was presided by Liu Xiaokan the member of the Leading Party Members' Group & Vice Chairman of BAST. Ma Lin the Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group & Standing Vice Chairman of BAST participated in the meeting and passed on the speech of Huai Jinpeng the Secretary of the Leading Party Members 'Group, the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Secretary of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). The major leaders of the 16 District – Associations for Science and Technology were present.

Closely revolving around the guiding principles of the speech made by the leader of CAST and combining with the major work of their Districts respectively, the people in charge of the District – Associations for Science and Technology made thorough discussions. They all expressed that the District – Associations for Science and Technology would conscientiously implement the guiding principles of CAST leader’s speech, strengthen the effective integration of regional excellent science & technology resources, actively combine the Party Building of the primary level and promote the construction of Party Building Office within Science & Technology Social Organizations, further strengthen the service for the vast numbers of science & technology talent and guide them to dedicate to the science and technology innovation, actively serve the sub-districts and towns, dare to trial and then form standardized and instructive ideas, and explore new approaches for the construction of grassroots Associations for Science and Technology.
