The “Science and Technology Workers of the Capital Assistance the Innovative Development of Hebei” Project was fulfilled in Fengning Man Autonomous County of Hebei.
Academician Li De and Li Ying the Chairman of Hebei Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine jointly unveiled the plaque of “Academician and Expert Service Center”, and organized the meetings of expert groups and enterprises for cooperation.
In the morning of August 16, in Fengning Man Autonomous County of Hebei Province, Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) and Hebei Association for Science and Technology (HBAST) jointly organized the “Science & Technology Workers of the Capital Assistance the Innovative Development of Hebei” Project & the Accurate Poverty Alleviation Activity of Academician and Expert. On behalf of BAST, Li De the Vice Chairman of BAST, the Chairman of Beijing Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering made a speech. Zhang Hongbo the Director of Beijing Science and Technology Mass Organization Service Center, Zhang Feng the Director of the Academic Societiey and Affairs Department of HBAST, and Fang Zhiyong the Secretary of CPC Hebei Fengning Committee etc. were present.
Revolving around the development of the industries of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in Fengning, Academician Li De made profound and professional analysis on the current situation of local agriculture and animal husbandry, the existing problems and the development in the future; meanwhile, he laid his idea about assisting Fengning area to conquer the difficulty of poverty alleviation. He pointed out that focusing on the current problems – such as the low science and technology level of Fengning industries of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, and the blurry development position etc, “the Accurate Poverty Alleviation Activity of Academician and Expert” provided an good opportunity to promote the extensive cooperation of local government and social organizations. He said that the advantages, especially those of the Science and Technology Mass Organizations of Beijing area in the aspect of intelligence resources must be given fully play to, and the cooperation must be realized precisely and sincerely, so that the local core competence of the industries of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry would be promoted by being provided with consultation and industrial plans etc. He thought that the poverty alleviation of Fengning would be generated by its industrial development; and the task – the assistance for the coordinated poverty-relief of Beijing and Hebei, should be fulfilled in accordance with the highest standards, which was also the repayment of Beijing to Hebei.

As the first batch of experts working for the “Academician and Expert Service Center”, Beijing Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and Hebei Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine pool top resource of experts of national animal husbandry; they have realized the bilateral collaboration of two Academic Societies in the same academia but two different geographical areas, and will definitely provide important science & technology support for promoting the modern development of livestock breeding of Fengning.
