On June 6, Beijing Science and Technology Association Held Educational Mobilization and Deployment Meeting with the Theme of "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind". Ma Lin, secretary of the Party group, lanuched the mobilization and deployment of educational project with the Theme of "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind". On May 31, when the Central Committee of the Party held a meeting on the work of theme education project"Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind ", General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important speech, giving an in-depth and comprehensive exposition of the significance, objectives and key measures for carrying out the theme education, which fully shows that our Party has not forgotten our first intention and our clear attitude of repacking and starting again. This education project fully embodies the sobriety and self-confidence of the Communist Party of China, which is the guiding document of strengthening the Party's construction in the new era, and provides the basic guide and important discipline for us to carry out the theme education. On June 3, the whole city held the " Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind " theme education work conference, Secretary Cai Qi gives pep talk and makes clear request of carrying out this theme education.

Science and Technology Association is an important force to promote the development of science and technology, which plays an irreplaceable and unique role in the economic and social development of the capital. At present, the deepening reform of science and technology association system has entered a critical period, and the task of reform is arduous and onerous. there is a great deal of work to be done for constantly leading the Party strict governance to in-depth level: building academic communication "main platform", building innovation-driven "ecological circle", promoting quality upgrading of science education venues in Beijing and promoting science literacy of the whole people, establishing "think tank" for scientific decision-making. Facing the arduous and heavy task of reform, it is urgent for us to be equipped with Xi Jinping Thought On Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in our minds, build up the foundation of faith, supplement the calcium of spirit, and keep our thoughts firmly. It is urgent to conscientiously carry out the general requirements of the Party building in the new era and strive to strengthen the Party organizations at all levels of the Science and Technology Association. It is urgent to carry out the fundamental purpose of the Party and keep close contact with the scientific and technological workers. It is urgent for education to guide Party members and cadres to carry forward the revolutionary tradition and fine style of work, to unite and guide the vast number of scientific and technological workers in the capital to implement the strategic orientation of the capital city, and to accelerate the construction of the National Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation in Beijing.

Secretary Ma Lin highlighted that four "throughout" should be adhered to ensure the desired effect of theme education. The general requirement of this theme education is to keep the initiative, to take the mission, to find the gap, to emphasize the implementation; The fundamental task is to study and carry out Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to refine the political character of loyalty and cleanliness, and to unite and lead the scientists and technicians in the capital to work together for the realization of the great dream. The concrete objective is, to be educated in the theory study, to be baptized in thought and politics, to dare to assume responsibility in starting the business, to serves for the people and help themsolve the difficult problem, to be honest and makes the lead; the work arrangement is, from June to August, arranged in 3 months, without stage, link. Theme education will have study education, the investigation and research, the question examination, the rectification and implementation inwhole process.

In accordance with the Implementation Programme on the development "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Theme Education in whole city, the Municipal Science and Technology Association has formulated the programme of work, and all the key measures must be taken to be implemented. First, we should strengthen theoretical study and persist in Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. Second, we should carry out in-depth investigation and research to strengthen the clear-cut guidance of the grass-roots. Third, we should examine the problem and weakness, give in-depth investigation of its own deficiencies. Fourth, we must carry out the rectification and implementation to ensure that the intended objectives are achieved. Before the end of the theme education, the leading bodies at the bureau level shall hold a special topic for democratic people's livelihood meeting, and the Party branch departments of the goverment and institutions shall hold a special topic for organizational life meeting. The special topic for people's livelihoodlife meeting (organization’s life meeting) should carry out criticism and self-criticism seriously, of which self-criticism should detail individuals, things andideas, and criticism between each other should point out real problems so as to achieve the effect of sweating and correction.

Secretary Ma Lin stressed the need to strengthen organizational leadership to ensure that theme education came to fruition. This theme education have little time but heavy task and strict standard. The Party organizations at all levels of the Municipal Science and Technology Association should put the subject education on the agenda, attach great importance to it, carefully organize it and do all the work well. First, we should implement the principal responsibility. In order to strengthen the organization and leadership of theme education, the Party Group has set up a leading group of theme education to promote the subject education of Science and Technology Association.The leading group has an office in charge of day-to-day work. Second, classification guidance should be strengthened. The work of the theme education should be orderly and step-by-step. We should not only do the "scheduled work" in a solid way, but also try to explore the "optional work" in accordance with the reality and characteristics of the capital. Third, we should grasp and promote in both areas. We should make overall consideration to achieve both the theme education and the central work, and promote the both. We will continue to focus on the center, the overall situation of service, and the construction of the National Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation in Beijing. At present, the task of reform of the Science and Technology Association should be effective and have a breakthrough. We should combine theme education with fulfilling the responsibilities of the Association's "Four Services", implementing the decision-making arrangements of the central and municipal committees, and completing the tasks of deepening the reform of the Association system, so as to achieve implementation and promotion in two areas at the same time. Fourth, we should strengthenpublicity and guidance. We should innovate the form and carrier of propaganda, and sum up the good experience, good practice and good model of the theme education in time, so as to create a good atmosphere for promoting the theme education.

Zhao Qinling, deputy head of the seventh circuit guidance group of the municipal Party Committee, put forward specific requirements on the " Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind " theme education work of Beijing Science and Technology Association: First, the requirements of the Central Committee and the Municipal Committee should be strictly implemented. In accordance with the central deployment requirements and in light of the actual situation in Beijing, the Municipal Committee has issued a plan for the implementation of the theme education. We should take in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on  Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which is the fundamental task and the most prominent mainline in the spirit of the Central Committee and the Municipal Committee, and should beimplemented inthe entire process of education in all aspects. Second, we should organize and carry out theme education steadily. This subject education has little time, but it has heavy task and high standard . The party organization at all levels of Beijing Science and Technology Association and the broad party member cadre should unify the thought and the action to meet the central request and the municipal committee deployment,implement steady works. Third, the circuit guidance group will be in accordance with the requirements of the municipal committee, performing their duties and being active in job.

In accordance with the important spirit and general requirements of the " Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind "theme education, the Municipal Science and Technology Association will conscientiously study and implement Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and make greater efforts to deepen the reform of the Science and Technology Association system and promote the innovation and development of its cause, celebrating the 70th birthday of New China with more excellent achievements.
